I was starting to wonder how you were? I hadnt seen an update from you for a while. I'm glad all is well and looking well on schedule.
I just wanted to ask if you were going to find out the sex of the baby? Karen is going to wait for the big finale surprise at the end. I'm so impatient, I couldnt possibly wait that long!
What about you?

I had a week off work so I have not been on the computer - we have one at home but I don't use it much there.
Yes I am waiting until I have it to find out what I am having, we did it with Skye and thought we'd do the same again - I do keep being tempted especially when everyone else on the boards is finding out, but I think it's more exciting and right for us.
You never know I might not be able to miss it on the u/s, although knowing me and how dozy I am they could focus on the bits for 10 minutes and I still wouldn't figure out what it was!
Any signs of movement for you? I know it's still early but you were saying you expected something to happen.
I thinks its great that you can wait, I'm just far too nosey and curiosity got the better of me. I do agree it makes it more exciting to find out right at the end
I had an unschedulled antenatal appt today, I was getting worried about the likelyhood of a VBAC and fast approaching 35 wks (when DS was born) I wanted to know what lay ahead. As it stands at the moment it looks like 85% c-section 15% VBAC, as each day goes by, my chances of a VBAC diminishes. At the last scan 2 wks ago the baby was measuring 2 wks ahead because of growth and they will check again on the 11th Oct, should I get that far!
If I dont go into labour myself then this baby had a scheduled c-section booked for Friday 21st October I cant wait, but personally I seriously doubt I will make it that far, I reckon sometime upto or before 13th October. I cant believe there is less than 3 wks and 3 days or less left!!

Wow - that has come around so fast !! I am so excited for you.
How is Christopher - do you think he is about ready for the new baby? Skye has started being REALLY clingy with me this last couple of weeks which is strange because she is a proper Dady's girl. We keep talking about the baby in mummy's tummy so I am wondering if she is getting a bit insecure about it already? On the other hand I think she is in the process of getting her back teeth so it could just be that she is feeeling under the weather.
Christopher is really excited about the new baby, he makes sure he tells everyone that doesnt know that he's getting a brother soon! and assures me that he will be helping with the feeding and changing. Let's hope he sticks to it I too have noticed him getting unusually clingy and more lately he has had a few "accidents" in his pants both number 1 & 2. I dont know why, I work hard to get him out of it which takes several days and then he's fine for a while then out of nowhere he does it again. I expected this to happen after the baby's born but not before. Let's hope it's only temporary.
I agree with you, it probably is that Skye is getting her back teeth, although i'm sure the feeling that she may need to share mummy soon is starting to make sense. We mentioned it to Christopher the other day and he out right said that I was only HIS mummy, he doesnt even like it when DH says I'm his wife!
They will need to get used to it, let's just keep our s that it's easier rather than harder.

Thanks for the reassurance - the worst thing is at night when she wakes up she only wants me and not dh, if he goes to her she just screams the house down - Oh well on the bright side it's nice to feel loved.
oh wow, hadnt thought of that yet. Considering we havent even finished decorating the Nursery. I've got all of Christopher's clothes out from birth - 1 yr, but they all have to be washed and put away. I guess I should think about getting a bag ready just in case.
I went to Matalan today and they had a pajama set that I really liked for my hosptial stay, except they didnt have the top in my size just the trousers. I hope I dont go into labour before they get new stock in!
Without looking up lists, what's the basic essentials I should get prepared?

Cheers for a list, it's given me a starting point. I think it must be getting closer as I have started to clean like done 12 loads of baby clothes washing, he now has everything till the age of 1 clean to wear. Completely dismantled the cot, pram, swing, car seat, highchair washed and disinfected all the frames and washed all the covers. I just need to find the bottle warmer and all the baby toys wash/clean those and I should be close to finish!
