Hi girls,

How are you all? as you can probably imagine I'm trying to get use to coping with two and recovering from the section. I've only just managed to get on my feet again in the last couple of days. I got some nasty blisters on my belly near the incision and it has been almost unbearably painful to walk or even move around, they burst which gave some relief but I think another one might be growing The breastfeeding is going ok, although I dont think Anderson is getting enough, he has lost 7oz since birth and the m/w is coming back to check on him today. Boobs are sore but I guess that's expected. The m/w suggested I give him 1 bottle feed at midnight, which seems to be going good.

Christopher seems to be adapting to being big bro well, he always wants to help which is great, I just have to watch out he doesnt get heavy handed. No signs of jealousy yet s

Ruth & Karen, How are our pg ladies doing, those babies must be doing lots of by now

Claire, how are you doing? any signs of Luca's arrival yet?

Amanda, How's Summer doing? How are you finding coping with 3 under 4?

Here's one pic of Anderson, I'll try and post a few more soon, I just dont get the time anymore!

Dawn ......Anderson is a wee dote as we say in Northern Ireland. dont worry too much about weight loss as long as you keep feeding as and when he cries. Summer lost 1 lb because she couldnt suckle with being a 35 weeker like yours! It just seems more cos the early babies are smaller KWIM. kep up the good work hon.

and coping with 4, to be honest I am not! I think I may have ppd ...going to docs next week. Summer is perfect - couldnt ask for a better baby but I am finding everyone is expecting so much of me just now. Its like because I recovered quickly from the birth and felt wonderful everyone forgot that I was post natal - and all of a sudden whhoosh DH back at work and everyone is gone - eaving me to pick up the pieces and cope with three babies and one pre pubescent 9 year old.

*sigh* there you go - would I send her back? probably not.

Oh Amanda, I'm sorry to hear you having such a tough time and have been left to cope with it all. I'm sure you would have done so if possible, but how about DH taking some time off to help out a little, even if for a week or so?

I can relate to being a little overwhelmed when everyone just expects you to get on with it and cope! I think youre doing the best thing with going to the dr, I'm sure he will be able to give you a couple of options as to where to start.

I too am a little scared of what will happen when all have left, but at the moment i'm trying to take each day at a time.

I know it's no consolation but, if you just feel like putting stuff into words and emailing them to me, please feel free! I may not be able to help but I am a good listener/reader. Please know that I will be thinking of you, when is your dr appt next week?

Start each challenge with a very deep breath *sending you a very big big hug*

Hi Dawn, Anderson is adorable.
Was that the name you chose, i thought you said Alexander?

No signs of Luca making an early arrival(as much as i would love him to)
This PG has been tough, i feel soooo tired and he feels so low its uncomfortable to walk or sit
Had a bit of spotting on tuesday but nothing since
Didnt realise if i have anymore bleeding i have to do to hospital because im RH neg

Keep up the great work breastfeeding, its all so worth it

Hi Claire,

We had originally chosen Alexander but it's the name of my friends son and I wanted something different.

Anderson is a variation of Andrew which DH liked (St Andrew being the saint of Scotland) I prefered Anderson to Andrew, just something special sounding about it.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that Luca decides to change his mind and make an earlier appearance (not too early though). I think I remember you saying you were going to be sectioned on 17th Nov? is that still the plan? OMG why didnt you ring the hospital when you got the bleeding? have you been to have it checked out?

Try to keep up the good work a little longer you are almost there girlie!
