Icon7 My dr's update (pg)

Went to dr yesterday, he did an emergency referal to Kings Lynn Hospital for the Diabetic Antinatal Clinic for an appt nx Thursday. The results to my last Blood Sugar Levels were high at 9.7 (they should be between 5-8) he said they were probably due to the pregnancy and put me on 5mg Frolic Acid.

Christopher had a great time at Little Bunnies Nursery/Daycare, I have decided to sign him up there after easter. At the moment he is at the community playgroup which only runs Tues & Thurs 13:00 - 15:00 so that means I'm loosing out 3 days and half an hour a day as well, they are changing after Easter to Tues, Wed & Thurs 13.00-15:30 but I still have to find another placement for him elsewhere and i've been told it gets complicated when the daycare tries to split the funding.

At least at Little Bunnies I can pick and choose my own hours and days they are very flexible Christopher will be going Tues & Thurs 09:30 - 15:30 I just pay for his Lunch time 1 hr a day, and he also has 14:16.30 on either Fridays or Wednesday depending on what suits me. The Hospital is only 10mins away which is perfect as I wont need to take him with me for appts.

DH finally spoke out and said he was happy about the pregnancy, but I still didnt get that he was all that excited, maybe its me, I could be expecting too much.

Thanks for listening.

Default Re: My dr's update (pg)

Dawn its great you are getting all the necessary appointments straight away. Its great too that you have made a start and got christopher into bunnies - its good to give yourself some 'time ff' and girl you are going to need it now.

I dont think men do get excited as we do about being PG. I know its hard for them they dont feel the hormones nor can they see the baby - I think they need tangable stuff befotre they can dentify with it. I found my dh saw little emotional things when Hollie was being cute and stuff and that has made him more excited.
and of course now we are having the nureral tube defect scare he is worried about baby and realises he wants her.
