Yep officially I can inform u all that my 1999 computer finally died on me and has gone to heaven. Ok so maybe not to heaven, but given to the kids for homework lol !

I was just so sick of having 'corrupt' error files 24-7. I had three major crashes on the computer in those years which I lost everything. I had Norton and all the virus protectors possible, but to be honest it was just on overload when the kids tried downloading Sims2 on it !

So off I go looking on ebay for a little Mommas own laptop. Of course I had no idea what I was looking for. Luckily the kids Dad popped buy to see them and informed me I needed a 'wireless' one ! Thats actually means nothing to me but since getting it I know why I needed that.

So I bidded and got out bidded but I was on a mission and I paid way more than what I was exoecting to (and won) - but I am so glad I did. I still have to get used to the small keys (so please excuse any typos) and how far up the keyboard is on the computer.

So as we speak I am typing away and Lewis (11) is doing homework on the old computer. I have decided to delete everything from the old computer and so it will become faster and child friendly. I have already put a password onto my new laptop so the kids can't chat away to all my friends on messenger !

Anyway I am excited as u can tell - all I need know is a new car lol

I have the dated stuff we bought back in 2000, my stupid brother deleted part of a programme on windows 98 and its never been the same since! I'll just have to keep this till it goes on me.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it very soon, it just takes a little time. At least now you dont have to share it with the kiddies. Hope your new laptop lasts you a very long time!

And when fairygodmother gives you your new car, could you please ask her to pop by here, I could do with some leather sofas and a new kitchen LOL

Id love a laptop - I made a mistake and spent the christmas money DH gave me on new upgrades for my old computer. It is a super duper computer now, but seeing as I am pg and would justlove to sit on the sofae I just wish I had that laptop.
