Hi Dawn. I'm really sorry I haven't been posting, but I just don't seem to get a chance at the moment. I have been lurking a bit, but only when feeding Connor, so typing is hard. When I do get to put him down, Luke thinks it's his turn for attention (and he's right!) so no posting then either. I'm only on here now because Luke is in bed and Connor has decided that he will stay asleep in the moses basket this evening rather than in my arms.

Life with two children is easier than I thought it would be, but much busier than with just a 3 year old. Connor is a much easier baby than Luke was. He took to breastfeeding like a pro (it helped that I know what I'm doing this time) and he is more content most of the time.

Luke is still delighted with Connor and wants to kiss him, cuddle him and pick him up. He has had a few tantrums this past week (including one huge strop when the HV was here ) but it's me he's cross with, because I can't do what he wants when he wants it. I have to remind myself that he's only little himself, despite the fact that he seems so huge all of a sudden.

Anyway, I have updated my signature with a pic of my two boys. I haven't got around to uploading the rest yet. I will try to get around to it soon!

P.S. There's a post from Ruth on DIF that you might be interested in ...

WOW how gorgeous is Connor, he looks so big! certainly not like a 2 week old baby. Luke looks so in love with him.

I'm glad your breastfeeding is going better than mine did. Doesnt every seem a whole lot easier this time round, it's all to do with knowing what's coming, I'm sure if we had known what was in store with our first ones it would not have been so "hard". It's funny how you forget things, there is the odd moment I stop and think "did we do it that way?" How are you finding the night feeds along with getting up in the morning with Luke?

Poor Luke, it's going to be a little hard to get used to sharing Mummy, on the other hand you might see Luke's independance and confidence grow quite rapidly as he is now the older brother (as I did with Christopher). I remember thinking Christopher looked like a 8 yr old next to new born Anderson, it's so easy to forget how quickly they grow. I'm sure Luke will settle soon, it's just time when they start to help out Mummy and be a BIG brother.

Good to hear everythig is going well, keep up the xcellent job your doing, and I'm looking forward to those pictures when you have time.

I read Ruth's post before I replied to yours, I'm so glad that Caleb arrived safely, ahhh and I was right with her prediction and only 4lbs out on the weight!
