Default Doctors

my doctors surgery works on a call at 8.30am to get an appt and then 12noon for an afternoon appt so you can never book one in advance. for me to go sans kids I need the last appt at 5.

so three times now I've called at 12noon (latest 5 mins past) and all the appts have gone already. they'll only issue appts bang on time so I cant call a few minutes early

do you think I have a right to complain to the practice manager????

I think you have a right to complain. something similar happened to me ... my docotor takes emergency calls at 11.45 for 15 inutes, I phoned at about 1.50 and was put on hold for 20 mins then I was told tough luck I missed my slot. I was mad as Ellis was really sick and I only needed to speak to the doctor for advicenot take up an appointment and it WASNT MY FAULT they had so many calls. They complained, and the doctor phoned me back and apologised LOL
