What are you doing this summer? Do you have any big trips planned? We are going to head to an amusement park next month in Ohio

We are going to try to get to the pool a lot too. The kids love the water.

an amusement park!! that sounds like fun!! i keep trying to convince my husband that we should take aedan to a local carnival, but he won't go for it. the workers freak him out....

do you have relatives in ohio?? chad has an aunt and uncle in cleveland.

and, which pool do you go to?? i need to lose 30 pounds before setting foot in a pool....oh, and i need to shave my legs a bit more often. not sure which of those is the more unlikely event.....

i don't think we have any particular plans. travel with a baby is nearly impossible....as is travel with little money. although, i did see that gas came down a bit!!

No plans here. We will probably go visit DH's family once or twice, I don't really call that a vacation and it would just be for the day.

No big plans here . . . we took a couple fairly big trips this spring, so that cut out money/vacation time/pet sitters,etc for this summer.

I'm trying to convince DH that our back yard is really too big and we should put in a pool, but so far its not working.

No big plans here yet. We wont be able to make any til we know what is up with hubby's work. We know he will be out of a job July 31st...with 13 weeks severance. Everything will be determined on what happens shortly after that.

Well, we just got back from our trip to Kentucky to visit family. We flew out of Kansas City. When we came back on Saturday, we stayed in the Great Wolf Lodge. That place is so nice. Nice little splurge, but my husband Trevor and I haven't spent that much money on a hotel since our honeymoon weekend in 2002! We just recenty bought our first house so we are busy trying to get things together.

We don't have relatives there. We just love amusements parks so we try to go to a different one every year. We are meeting some people from this board that I am on.

I would soooo love a big pool in our backyard. I want to get out to the Mahoney Water Park a few times this summer. We have a little pool in our yard that I "swim" in LOL.

We are going to have to plan a trip to the waterpark together. Greg and I were talking about taking the kids down there in a few weeks, after the 4th.

As for Amusements parks, Im not real good on the big rides but I just love the atmosphere. I want to get back to Worlds of Fun (and Oceans of Fun) this summer sometime. Its been well over 10 years since I have been. Growing up in KC, we used to go several times a year. Its changed so much since then, though. I want to take the kids - although, I might be slightly paranoid to let them ride on anything big (Probably aren't tall enough anyway..but even when they get that way, I'll be the same way). Definitely want to get them to OOF if not WOF.
