I will be down in Hoopeston in a week or 2. That is where I grew up. One of my best friends is coming back to her parents. I am very excited. Sidenote- we just got a monicals pizza here!!!!! I was so excited about that. The only time that I could get it was when we would come down there.

Hey Illinois moms! We recently moved to the NW burbs of Chicago and prior to that we lived in the Peoria area. Jersgirl...I used to teach with a gal that was from Hoopeston. Small world!

I'm from Illinois too! I LOVE Monical's! It's my favorite pizza!

Were you ever the Sweetcorn queen? My hometown had a Gladiolus Festival and the Hoopeston Sweetcorn Queen was always in it, and they would hand out cans that were piggy banks during the parade!
