Hello ladies! I'm glad I finally found this forum. My name is Becky and I live in Des Moines, Ia. I've been married for 2 1/2 years and we are the proud parents of a 7 1/2 month old baby boy named Brennan. Just wanted to jump in and introduce myself. I can't wait to get to know you all!

looks like our boys are close in age...well, one of them anyway.... my little guy, rowan, will be 8 months tomorrow. i'm in omaha now, but lived in clive for a bit and also in polk city, ia back in the mid-90's. we were only there a short time, but i always enjoyed des moines.

Hi Becky!!! Welcome I'm Lee Ann, Mommy of 3...We live in Omaha now, too. Never lived in Iowa, though lol. Have been through it more times than I can count travelling to KC, Missouri, though. Visited Des Moines a few times when I was very little with my Mom. I do have a minimal opportunity to go to Des Moines for the State Fair and see Kid Rock here soon...I really want to go but not sure we will be able to.

Anyway - its nice to see you here! Hope you will stay and post with us.

Thank you all for such a nice welcome! I've only been in the midwest for 2 years. I am orginially from Bowling Green, Ky (born and raised). My husband is from this area so we moved up here. Sure is a lot different then what I am used to. I can't wait to get to know you all!
