Default What does this mean?

It looks like af might be on her way since my temp dipped some this morning, so if she does show, what does this mean for my cycle. The more I read all the posts, the more I wonder if an 8 or so day LP is a bad thing. I'm not trying to have a baby for probably a year or so, but should it be a concern? Here is my chart..

It's kind of hard to say for sure when you Oed b/c you have so few temps... Abd going by OPK's and CM alone to pin down O are just not enough to know what is going on all the time So, I don't feel comfortable guessing how long your LP is "if" AF shows.. It's even hard to say by your last couple temp dips if AF will show.. I like to have a few solid pre O temps to even take a crack at predicting something like that.

But, you are right.. A short LP can make TTC very tricky.. Although I'm not sure if a really short LP or really long LP make conception completely impossible. But, the closer to 14 days, the better.

Sorry I wasn't a whole lot of help

I'm interested in the spotting. An 8 day LP wouldn't be good, however, 1 chart isn't going to tell you that it's typical for you. KWIM? I'd try not to worry much about it until you see a pattern esp. if you aren't really TTC yet. If a short lp is typical each cycle then you know it'll be something to mention to your doctor.

Well so far, no af. Not even any signs, actually, no cramping or anything. Maybe the dip was just a small dip or something. I guess time will tell. As for the spotting, it was like one speck on pink cm (salmon colored) when I wiped, nothing since then and not even enough to get on my underwear. Today I am actually having a lot of egcm which is weird because I thought that this was a "dry" period, but I haven't really tracked my other cycles this way so I am not sure if that is normal for me or not. Is it typical for temps to rise and fall after ovulation, or are they pretty steady? Could egcm after ovulation mean you are about to start your period soon?

I guess it meant the most horrible af in my life was coming! Normally, my signs are sore breasts, headache, then a period. I never have cramps or back pain ever. This morning I woke up to the worst cramps since having my baby. The pain comes in waves, like my contractions did, but when it hurts it hurts in my abdomen and lower back. I really hope this is not the new normal for me, I need morphine!!
