For those that use fertility friend, do you have it set on the recommended 'Advanced' setting or the 'FAM' (fertility awarness)?

I ask because when I have mine set on Advanced it does not detect ovulation at the correct time, IMO. For example, on my last cycle using the FAM I got solid crosshairs at CD 40 and then had a 13 day LP.

Using the 'Advanced' setting it gave me dotted crosshairs at CD 45 which I then would have had a 7 day LP which is shorter than I've ever had.

Just wondering your experience...

Mine is set on advanced. I have to override it most of the time. I've had it set there for years so I just leave it.

Hey Erin havent checked on ya in a while Im pregnant! ok so as far as the FF i always toggled it but i liked the research method best....i think the FAM is gonna go off of CM and "dry up" to get the ovulation? i may be wrong....but i used the ff and the ovusoft when i was charting.
