This cycle I just started using them because my FM was giving me lows but I had a thermal shift. So I started on the OPK's. Last cycle I had positive OPK's after my thermal shift too.

ive gotton a + after my ovulation day before and none before kwim? opk's just detect increase in LH hormone which occur prior to ovulation. what kind of opk's do you use? i use the kind, they cost a lil more but are deffenatly worth it considering its so yes/no....no guessing/squinting, i do enough of that with hpt's lol....

or another thing could be PCOS? they say that women continue to get + on opk's that have pcos, so its not a good indicator of ovulation for women with pcos, not saying thats what it is, just saying what ive read.....but i think that pcos + opk's continues throughout your entire cycle kwim?

Thanks Michelle. I think with PCOS maybe I wouldn't be seeing a thermal shift. I'm not sure. I would have to research that. Maybe I'm just reading them wrong. I like the idea of the digital ones. Just thought I'd throw that question out. Thanks.

I have pcos and I see shifts on my chart with the exception of course on the anovulatory cycles.

I've I'd on my first peak or second peak, so I wouldn't worry too much about the +opk. I really don't see anything unusual about your chart last cycle with the rise and +.

This cycle your + make your peaks so I think that's a good sign. I would just make sure your bases are covered around the + opks times. Your temp shifts look like O, but it wouldn't hurt to bd when you see the + opk.

How many charts do you have? How many cycles have you charted?
