Shannon, question for you
How did you temp when Z was not sleeping for very long? Did you just take your temp when you got up in the morning, regardless of whether or not you'd had 3 hours of sleep?

Re: Shannon, question for you
Yep, I never get 3 hours of sleep in a row, but my body is likely quite used to it by now. As long as I keep my mouth shut until I take my temp(and it has been shut for a while) my temp tends to be pretty accurate. If it has been a worse night than normal, I mark sleep deprived on the software, that way I can take that temp for what it's worth, in case O is near. As you can see from my charts, my temps aren't really erratic, and O is clearly defined(and for me, accompanied by O pains and sore bbs to make it even easier to identify ).
Now, that being said, it may or may not work for you, you can always temp, and see what they look like on paper, and see if you aren't having too much variation, TCYOF says that a temp is not accurate without 3 hours of sleep, and that is likely true for many women, but everyone is different so it might work, but then again it might not.
Good luck, hun!

Re: Shannon, question for you
adding that my temps are pretty sensitive to the time taken, as long as I take it within 30 minutes either direction, they are ok, but if I go longer than that, I have to adjust, One of my posts has the ovusoft chart, and those temps are always adjusted, you can see the diff between that and FF unadjusted temps

Re: Shannon, question for you
Thanks, I decided to start temping just to see. Usually I wake up between 5am - 6 am so hopefully my temps won't be erratic.
It looks like I O'd prior to menses this first cycle which according to kellymom makes it sound likely that I will O again this next cycle.
I don't know how to make my FF ticker link to my chart though...right now it just has the CD on it.

Re: Shannon, question for you
OK, if you go to set up your ticker, after its all done it will give you a code(bb code) to put in, just copy and paste that. If you can't figure that out, let me know and I can help.
