Do progesterone suppositories cause your bbt be higher than normal?? I have been doing them since 2dpo, but I haven't really noticed any changes in my bbt. If anything....they are lower than normal....any ideas??

I've only done them with my ivf cycles and I didn't bother to temp while doing them. Techinically they should raise your temps. It could be a gradual rise and you may not notice it immediately.

I have temped after taking a p4 shot to induce af and a rise is clearly seen immediately, but that's a whole lot more progesterone at one time.

I'm not real sure. They do seem to be a lower. Why are you on them? The only thing I can think of is that maybe your levels of p4 are lower this cycle to begin with so it has raised it some. In other words, perhaps they'd be even lower without.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I usually don't bother temping while on p4 since the temps are typically elevated. I wonder if the suppositories just don't show a rise like a pill or oil might due to how your body absorbs it.
