Default New to Charting?

Here is a good place to start!

The Trying to Conceive can sometimes be stressfull, confusing and time consuming. We are here to help you on that journey, and hopefully make your journey more fun and interesting and if nothing else, provide thoughts on your charts! Please feel free to drop in whenever you have any questions or hang out with us all the time!

Here are some resources that we recommend and are user friendly with some tutorials and some good basics:

Fertility Friend

Taking Charge of your Fertility

*This is also the name of the book that has great information for your trying to conceive journey. You can usually find it at your local library to glean the information, or buy it from Amazon, half.com or ebay...I find it's a great book to have on the shelf to grab when I can't remember a specific instance(like, what are the rules for a "fallback rise"?). The author's name is Toni Weschler*

Common TTC Abbreviations
sxs= signs and symptoms

Some things to keep in mind:

~The "normal" 28 day cycle is rarely that, and each woman has her own experiences, you are unique, not a machine, so stress, sickness, and sometimes obessing over a chart can delay your ovulation. Also, waking several times a night and randomly taking your temperature doesn't help and you can often end up with an equally untelling temperature the following morning(ask me how I know )

~We LOVE charts, so if you have one we can see, link us to it! If you don't know how, it's fairly simple:

Fertility friend
*click on the link above your chart that says "Home Page Setup"
*Right at the top under "Your Charting Home Page Web Address:" is a link, just copy that and paste it in your message. Or in your siggy. It will look like this:
(that's my chart, BTW)

*If you want to go one step further and put a fancy name to your chart then type in your name, then hi-light it and click on the icon above your post that is the hyperlink(the world with a link on it) and paste your link in there. It will then look like this:

Shannon's Chart!

*It only works if you have one http:// so delete the one that's already there

Ovusoft

*Go to "My ovusoft" and scroll down to "Other Stuff" The first link should be to your charts. Click on it.

*Copy and paste URL of your page here, see above for fancy name

See, told you it was simple! Really, it took me a long time to be able to get all these things so don't feel bad if you need to ask more questions!
