This is my 1st month charting and how long should I take my temp? 1 minute or 2 minutes.....I have been leaving the thermometer in anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes, am I doing it wrong? I have a digital BBT thermometer and the directions did not say...
If its digital.. it should either beep.. or the little F next to the temp will stop flashing when the therm is done. Mine takes about 2 min.

6 weeks-6lbs 1 oz and 5 lbs 4 oz
7 weeks (40weeks gestation) -6 lbs 13 oz and 5 lbs 14 oz
2 months-8 lbs 7 oz and 7 lbs 7 oz
3 months-10lbs 9 oz and 9 lbs 11 oz
I find it isn't done when it beeps. Mine beeps at like 15 seconds though, so I leave it for about a minute. I realized this when it said my temp was 96.4 the first morning, I was like umm I am not that cold and it went up to 97.4, big difference.

My 1st BBP didn't beep and I would put it in my mouth, fall asleep again and forget about it
