Default Which chart is correct??

I just popped over from the TTC over 40 board for advice. I have been temp charting since February..took a month off in March as I had fibroid surgery so the temps would be skewed and was back to temping in April. I have two cycles on Ovusoft and four on FF. First..since temping my LP seems to be 10 days. The one cycle that I wasnt temping post op may have been slightly longer by a day or two just by watching other signs. SO I started this cycle with B6 100 MG and Fertilityblend. So far this cycle FF and ovusoft are giving me two completely different O days. FF says I O'd on day 10.. (which is early for me..I average CD 14-15) the EWCM was there and lasted to CD12. There was a good temp shift at that point mid 97's to low 98's. Ovusoft agreed with this timing until OD 19 when I got wet CM...not EW but just wet. So Ovusoft changed my O date to OD18. At that time I got a temp shift from 98.1 to 98.6and since have stayed between 98.2 and 98.4. This does not seem like a good enough shift to move O. I can get Ovusoft to change back by changing preferences BUT..I am now CD23 and no AF. On CD21 which according to FF was 11DPO I got a BFN.
Questions:
What does everyone rely on CM or temp shift??
Wet is not EW so why would Ovuosft use them as one?? Possibly I am confused as to how to identify the difference therefore am confusing the software??
Now here I am at CD23..which means if I have a 10 day average LP I am 3 days outside of that with no AF and a BFN which makes me wonder if Ovusoft knows something I dont??!!
This charting can be very confusing!!

I'm only familiar with Fertility Friend. There are different settings which may cause some different readings. I'm not sure if Ovusoft has similar options. Do you have a link so we can see your chart?

The temp shift confirms O for me. If the program is changing your date around, I would go by your instincts if you have some idea when you may have O'd. A lot of things can affect the reading the program gives you.

This is only my 9th natural Oing cycle in my life that I'm aware of, but through the course of the years with medicated cycles I relied on charting. I am now able to go by my cm and some ovarian discomfort to know when to use an opk. From there I start temping to see the shift. Once I see a couple of days of higher temps then I'm certain O has happened.

If I can see your chart, I may have some ideas.

I hope I remembered how to create this link!! Here is FF. I am not sure how to share Ovusoft but you can see the same info..just imagine Ovusoft prediciting CD18.

It sure looks like cd10 according to this chart. What settings do you have ff set on?

It looks like it may just be a wait and see. The B6 could have affected more than just your lp, I suppose. Any time you add something, you could expect some type of change. You never know. Did you feel any o pains around cd10? I'd say that temp shift looks like O.

When do you plan to test? If you have a next cycle, I'd recommend some opks.

Sorry, I couldn't be of more help. If you get a nice rise tomorrow, it could be a good sign.

Can't add more than Nancy.. And I have to agree that CD#10 looks like O day to me too And hey! Maybe that 2nd temp shift that ovusoft detected as O could be a traphastic shift instead.. Which hey! If it was to happen, it would at about 8-10 DPO

Good luck this cy!

I am not sure what FF is set at. I just started plugging info in and thats what I got. As for Ovusoft..that I know I can change from Temp only to Temp and CM. At temp only it says O day at CD10 BUT..if you add in the CM as well it moves it to CD18. I did get a BFN on CD21. I guess if I dont get AF by the end of the week I will have to try to test again. My concern right now is if I o'd on CD10 then my LP at this point would be 13 days...isnt anything over 14not 'normal'?? AND...from everything that I have read B6 usually extends by a day or so..not 3 or 4. I know anything is possible but its really confusing to me.

It's possible that you o'd a day later, on the rise. I've o'd early in the morning and that morning there's a rise in temps.

I haven't heard that a long lp isn't good. According to text books and some doctors' opinions, 14 is normal and everyone has 28 day cycles. Something like that anyways. Too long is better than too short, IMO.

I wouldn't be too concerned right now. It looks like you o'd and the B6 helped out your LP. Technically, the only proof of O is pg, but we just have to assume your temp shift was caused by O. I've had my share of crazy cycles so I completely understand.
