Hi, I am new to this forum. I am 41yrs old and ttc#2. My DS is 7.
This is my second cycle charting w/temps. I took 150mg Clomid this cycle. Started Progesterone Cream on day 21 in the evening.
Here is the deal. I had bw on day 21 and 23 to see if I O'd. On CD 21 my Progesterone level was 1.5 and on CD23 it was 2.6.
Soooooo, my doc (not an RE) says I did not O. According to FF, I O'd on CD21. If I did O on CD 21, would my Progesterone levels have been higher on day 21 and 23? I am considering asking for bw tomorrow, cd 28.

I unfortunately do not know about progesterone levels, but looking at your chart I would guess that you O'ed on 21 too.

Once you start progesterone, you won't really see the rise from O. Did you self-prescribe the progesterone cream? Progesterone shouldn't be started until O is confirmed. It could prevent O. If your doctor didn't rx it, I'd ask for some. I know that people do use cream, but I think there are other types that would deliver a more consistant amount to your body.

I'd say your levels show that you didn't O. Progesterone is funny. Unless you take your levels every single day and several times at that, it's hard to know what happens. I always felt my levels were low while on clomid, but testing it during a different part of the day can affect them as well.

I have no idea how quickly progesterone rises after O. Sometimes there are small rises in temps and I think that depends on at what time someone O'd.

Your chart looks like ovulation. You didn't mark progesterone, but that does affect temps by at least several tenths. You can clearly see the rise in my chart.

I'd ask for b/w and u/s if you can. Were you monitored by u/s during the clomid cycle?

I was not monitored while on Clomid. Only day 21 bw. My OBGYN is not really able to do much with infertility. I will be making an appt with an RE next week to get the ball rolling in that direction. The RE said they could get me in right away, but I am not sure if I will have to wait until my next cycle starts.
I just think that based on my chart, I O'd this cycle. I did not mark the Progesterone on my FF chart because I am just using a topical cream. I don't think it is nearly as strong as the RX kind. I had just read that it would help with the luteal phase.

It looks to me like you could have O'd on cd 22, and that may be why your prog wasn't so high?
