I had no idea that Quebec didn't have their long weekend at the same time. What do you call it? You can't call it the August long-weekend like we do.

RoseAnne: June 24th is Saint-Jean Baptiste Day, patron saint of the french canadians.

Nice because we have back-to-back long weekends with Canada Day (that is, when the 24th of June and the 1st of July fall on a Friday or Monday).

I believe that we are the only province not to have a long weekend in August...we have to tough it out until Labour Day in Sept.
