On Kat's list :
- Leapster plus games (leapster has been bought)
- Leappad books
- Board games
- books
- clothes

On Ellie's list :
- Weebles
- mr potato head (been bought)
- Wooden train set
- PowerTouch book (been bought)
- books
Oh and i have a list of DVD's that both would like.

DH wants a new tv, so that might be our joint present, and other wise getting nothing. (a $2000 TV i think is enough )
I honestly don't know what i want.. (how bad is that) I don't want clothes cause i'll be 6 months pregnant, want a mother's ring but don't want it until i'm done having kids, there are a few things for around the house that i would like, but we really don't have the room. So the TV might be it.. But hubby is usually pretty good at finding stuff that i will love even if i don't think of it.

Don't even remember all of my own questions..

Plans.. We are having a small Xmas thing with my parents and possibly my brother's family (Brother SIL and their daughter) on the 17th.. We leave for up north (about an hour north of Timmins) on the 22nd (making it a 2 day trip so stopping in North bay for the night). So we will get to dh's grandparents place before supper on the 23rd. Huge French Canadian Xmas celebration up there.. And we are planning on heading back home on the 1st for another 2 day trip. Oh and we are planning a small birthday party for Ellie while we are up there (since her birthday will only be about a week after we leave). So pretty busy..

Samantha will get:
A Little Tikes Walker from my parents (bought)
A Fisher Price Gumball Machine from the ILs (bought)
Some hand puppets from the ILs (bought)
Some Little People stuff (from us - have to buy)

Alex
Some hand puppets from the ILs (bought)
A French book for his LeapPad (bought)
Puzzles (bought)
Some books/dvds (have to buy)
And some of the stuff I posted in another thread

As for me & DH...don't know. We want a new computer, but we may wait & see.

We usually spend some time at my parents, some time at my ILs, and a big family dinner here (both my parents & my ILs). But, ILs may go to US to visit their dd this year, so everything is up in the air.

on Josh's list:
a rider/walker sort of toy (it's in the closet already)
clothes
a few small toys
Baby Einstein dvds

we aren't going to spend a ton of money on him this year, he really has everything he needs, and the last thing our house needs is more toys.

on my list:
a new electric mixer (the handheld kind)
a photo printer

on dh's list:
the NHL cable package, which he already has

our plans:
my parents and my brother will most likely be heading down before Christmas, early December, for a long weekend and we will do Christmas with them at that time. my brother can't get time off around Christmas so that is how it's gonna work this year. and i am quite happy about that, because i really did want Christmas to just be the 3 of us this year.

on actual Christmas, Christmas day falls on a Sunday so we'll be at church in the morning, and probably do a turkey for dinner, maybe have friends over.

Camille :
New book for her leapfrog
books
clothes
board game
anything we find interesting :-)

I want a day at the spa!
bathrobe
pj's

dh I have no idea!

The last 6-7 years we always went to see family for Christmas. Last year we deceided we wanted to start a new family tradition, we would open our gifts on the morning of the 25th and then go visit during New year's. It didn't please everyone but we had the most wonderful Christmas ever and we will continue on that road. We are always the ones travelling to see them, because it's winter and they don't want to travel. We do feel obligated to go since we don't have big families and it is still important to us to see them. But they will maybe eventually understand that we have a family of our own now and spend time with our kids. Enough babbling!! hee he

What's on the kids list this year?

Keegan wants a few things

Cash register (Inlaws will get it)
Little Tykes BBQ
And a few other things that I am not sure what they will be yet. I have to wait until after his birthday and see what he gets

Anika

Fisher Price Dinosaur with the peek a balls
Keegan really wants us to get this for her so that he can show he how to use it
Maybe a few other things to wrap but we have a ton of toys already and she isn't even into playing with anything. So basically we are only buying stuff because of Keegan

What's on yours and hubbys?

I am not sure. His birthday is Dec 1st so I have to think of a few things fast.

What are your plans for the holidays?

We are going to the inlaws this year for Christmas. We always alternate years . Then I am off to my parents with the kids after Christmas to visit with my family. It would be great if we lived closer because I always had this dream to stay at home Christmas morning with the kids and then visit that evening or even boxing day. Oh well, maybe one day.

Erica, it's funny that you mention the dinosaur. Whenever the commercial is playing on tv, Alex tells me, "We need to buy that for Samantha." Yeah, Alex...Samantha is just dying to have that! Smart little boy, I tell ya.
