We are both dealing with a nasty cold. And I think that she may be teething as well.

I hardly got any sleep over the weekend, so my mom came over to help last night. You'll never believe what she did. Sam would only sleep in my moms arms. Every time she tried to put her down (in her carseat) she would wake up and cry. So my mom held her...all night long! That woman is an UBERWOMAN!

My first instinct was ear infection, but we haven't put her in her crib/lying flat to sleep. And she isn't tugging at her ears. She is just really fussy. She has been taking catnaps all day in her carseat or in my arms.

I gave her some Tylenol Cold yesterday and some Tempra today. Let's hope that she sleeps in her car seat tonight.

Any suggestions?

Oh yuck. Maybe the extreme fussiness is from a sore throat? I'd just assume that whatever symptom you have, she does too. Hopefully the Tempra helps. Motrin will last longer. Your mom must be wonderful to hold Samantha all night long. How lucky is Samantha to be so loved and doted on.

When Rose got an ear infection she did not tug at her ears so I would check that out if she's still really fussy. But Rose went through phases where she would only sleep in my arms or Nick's arms so who knows with these babes, huh? But if you do think that her ears might be it then it would be worth checking out.

Hope you both feel better soon. And aren't you lucky to have such a good Mommy to come and help you out?

I'm so sorry you and Sam are both sick! I hope you both feel better soon! Unfortunately no advice here. Liam is also really sick with a cold! He had a temp of 103 last night and is coughing and has a runny nose. He just cuddled with Daddy all day yesterday.... didn't play with a single thing. It was so sad.
