What is everyone dressing there kids up as for halloween?

What do you give to the kids that come trick or treating at your house?

Do you take your kids out to get the loot?

I don't know what they'll be yet. Joshua keeps talking about it, but it's a different thing each day. The Children's Place has some adorable little butterfly costumes that I think I might stick on Marisa, but she'll probably hate it. I'm not 100% sure yet though.

We usually hand out mini-chocolate bars and hope for leftovers. There usually aren't any leftovers though. There are a ton of kids in our neighbourhood.

Joshua has only gone out once, and DH took him. I was on door duty (and taking care of fussy Marisa duty). I'm not sure what is going to go on this year, but I'm pretty sure DH will want to get Marisa out there, too. I think I'll be on door duty again, which is okay with me.

Alex wants to be a dinosaur (what else...the kid is infatuated with them). I haven't a clue what Sam will be.

We usually give out mini-chocolate bars and some caramel candies.

Alex went to 3 houses last year. We turned around to go down the other end of our street and he insisted that we go to "that house"...problem was, is was our house!

this is Josh's first real hallowe'en that i could dress him up for (last year he was only a few weeks old)... but we are going to be in Los Angeles on Hallowe'en and i have no idea what we will be doing, dunno if our friends there shell out or not.

i am going to check Old Navy for a costume to take for Josh, don't know what that will look like.

as to what we give out - i usually go buy a ton of those mini candy bars, but since we won't be here i won't bother this year! and candy is expensive here so i don't mind not having to buy it.

Josh is too little to be eating candy, so he won't be trick or treating this year!

Don't know what the girls will be.. Kat is of course talking about being a princess (since she is one already ) Ellie, no clue. I think she would make a great animal of some sort (a monkey would suit her well).

We usually hand out chips and chocolate (chips first ).

Last year we attempted to go out, but when Kat saw the first dressed up kid, she freaked and that was the end of halloween for her.. We will try again this year.

Boog will be Spiderman as it's his newest fascination and we'll just take him around to a few neighbors .. we usually hand out chips and mini bars and hope for some leftovers too
