Tuesday was Alex's first day of pre-school. The parents were encouraged to be there for the whole 2.5 hours, so off I went with him. The teachers seem really nice, and the kids seem pretty well-behaved (well, most of them, anyway ).

They gave all the kids balloons when the day was over.

You'll notice he is wearing different shorts than when he left the house.

Let's just say that potty training didn't go too well last week.

He went back solo today. When I went to pick him up, he was very happy to see me and Samantha to tell us what he had done. He seems to really enjoy it, although I did catch him tuning out a few times on Tues (I guess because it's a french pre-school and his french is limited). All in all, I am quite happy with week 1.
