Ahhh, it's so good to be Canadian
I just finished watching Bowling for Columbine again. Michael Moore sure makes Canada look like the most awesome place to be. I couldn't agree more. (Sorry, Krista, but at least your heart is here.)

I figure that goes without saying
I'd much rather live here then anywhere else in the world. I really want to say more but I'm sure that title will get some lurkers, so I'll be good.

I hate to be the party-pooper...
I agree, it's great to be Canadian. But it's hard for me to say that I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I have never lived aywhere else. Nothing to compare it to, KWIM? I could see myself living in the US (Northeast like Boston, Connecticut, or New Jersey). There's good and bad everywhere. Just my

I have never lived anywhere else, but I'm pretty sure no where else could every fell like *home* the way Canada does for me. Having just moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia, at least I still pretty much feel home, even if all my family is still in Ontario.

oh man, you don't know how good you have it...
Josh drinks Walmart's brand of soy formula, so of course i can't get it anywhere other than the Wal... some guy got shot in the parking lot there a couple of weeks ago at night and i had to stop there tonight on my home from ESL classes to buy another can... i was so freaked out!!! (geez i could walk around Newmarket at 2 am and have dudes leaving from last call asking if we wanted a ride somewhere and all sorts of craziness and i was NEVER afraid)

I'm in the boat of, I've never lived anywhere else but I'm grateful to have been born in the country I love and I don't think the grass is any greener on the otherside.

I love Canada. I'm sure that there are good things about living other places, but I am partial to Canada and all the good that it has to offer.
Yes, I have seen talking to Americans and it is super funny.

Re: Ahhh, it's so good to be Canadian
I think Jodi said it best. I don't think everywhere else is awful, just that I'm really glad to have been born Canadian, 'cause Canada is a pretty good place to be. Of course there is good and bad everywhere, and trust me, I have plenty of daydreams about moving to a southern US state and having 10 or more months of summer instead of endless (seemingly) winter.
And YES, Talking to Americans was hilarious. It was the 2nd time I've seen it (I think they played it about a year ago, too) and I still laughed my butt off. Rick Mercer is a genius.

Re: Ahhh, it's so good to be Canadian
Talking to Americans is by far the funniest thing i have ever seen on television - because it's TRUE!! i mean, i've come to realize that Canadians are plenty ignorant about things specific to Americans in some ways, but geez, how can so many well-educated people be SO DUMB!!!
