Default Yuletide excitement

Is anyone else excited about the Yule season? I usually have a serious "bah humbug" attitude, but for some reason I'm all excited for the holidays this year. Anyone else feeling the spirit, yet?

I love this time of year, it's my favorite! My son was born on Dec. 4, so we try to hold off any holiday stuff until after then, though. But it's hard, since he and his sister really love it, too. And my DH loves to put up outside lights and he's taking off all of December. I'm having a really hard time with back pain this pregnancy, so I'm not going to be able to do everything I normally/would like to do, but I'll enjoy it just the same. I'll be 37 weeks at Yule, so I'm hoping that might be a good time to go into labor, if the baby is ready!

Jacquie.

I'm due 1 day after you! And I think that it is also a splendid time for a baby. Serenade, I'm usually not too into the season either but maybe it's the baby 'cause I'm getting kinda excited!

I'm usually more excited. I'm a bit overwhelmed with the impending arrivel of #3, so not so much into it this year. Too hard to shop, decorate, etc. LOL I'm too big! LOL

Serenade-- Would it be ok for me to "steal" your Winter Solstice blinkie? I haven't been able to find one of my own. Is it a freebie, or do I need to ask someone else first?

Congrats on #3 LeighAnn!! I got the blinkie at a free site, so "steal" away. I'm more than happy to share.
