Default Yule!

Hey everyone,

Wondering what's going on, and if everyone is excited about Yule's imminent approach? I love/hate this time of year- the darkness can be overwhelming but we're so close to emerging again into the light.

How do you celebrate?

We light a log in my fireplace at the end of our circle and tend it until dawn. There's also a group in the area that hosts a lovely labyrinth circle. I adore walking a labyrinth, especially this one-- They use white strings of lights to create the labyrinth itself and it's the only light source in there.

xoxoxo

I love this time of the year. We celebrate a mix of Christmas and Yule. We have our Yule log as well as a Christmas tree.

I'll go into detail later. I suddenly have a toddler sitting on me

I haven't been here in sooo long. I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a blessed Yule. Hope your holiday brings you peace and joy as we celebrate the birth of the sun.
