Re: Samhain plans???
I have to work, so I will miss trick or treating with the kids. They are going out with friends while dh stays home and passes out candy.
I will be home in time for circle, though. We will have a late dinner, about 10ish, and then circle at midnight. My youngest two are still homeschooled so I gave them the next day off, and my oldest has that day off of public school (convenient). We usually have wine (cider for the kiddies) and cookies afterwards to celebrate the new year. I'm still in the process of writing the ritual for this year. We are also having a wine and cheese party this Saturday (10-29).
Funny, dh and I and one other friend of ours are the only ones that practice, the rest of the people that join us for circle are Christians. Harmony between the religions?
This is the first year that my dd is having issues with "Hallowe'en witches". She keeps saying things like, "Real witches only look like that after they have been tortured by superstitious people." and, "That's not at all what my mom looks like." Hee hee I guess she doesn't pay attention to what I look like in the morning. lol
