Default It's Harry Potter Day!!!

Well, okay, the movie officially premiers on the 18th, but it will still be the 17th when we leave to go get out seats. We have tickets for the 12:01am showing. The entire theatre is sold out for tonight. That's 21 screens, most of them with stadium seating!!!!!! They aren't showing any other movies for the entire week. My younger two are dressing up again. Last year my younger son went as Harry and my daughter went as a dementor (they even got their pictures in the paper). This year my younger son is going as a random wizard and my daughter is going as Hermoine. Should be a good time.

My oldest is going to bed as soon as he gets home from school and sleeping until about 10pm. That should give him a good 7 hours of sleep. When we get home, he will get another 3-4 hours before school. Then he will have the whole weekend to recover. I'm making the younger two take a nap, too, but not as long. Since they are still homeschooled they have a little more flexibility, but I forgot to give them the day off tomorrow.

So......anyone else going?

We'll go and see it soon - I'm not sure when, yet though! My son is almost eight and loves HP. He hasn't read the books himself yet, though we've read him the first four. I am looking very forward to the movie version - I'm wondering which parts they will have cut out - it's such a long book!

Have a wonderful time at the film!

Jacquie.

I hope you had a great time seeing the movie......

It was SOLD OUT over here too.

13 of us went on the Saturday Afternoon.

My 4 year old and 7 year old where a bit frightened when Lord Voldermort showed up at the end.

Harry Potter was great!

Hugs

Nicola
