Default Do you specifically teach your children religion?

Like color correspondences, tarot meanings, lunar aspects, etc. I try to include these and more in our homeschool curriculum. Have you ever listened to the circle round cd? Its great with so many really fantastic songs.

No, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

I don't teach religion as part of their curriculum (except in a historical fashion). I save that more for family time. We have TONS of books on religion (most of them Pagan) and they have all read some of them. I guess I never really thought to add it into their curriculum. I don't really want to tell them what to believe, so if I do teach them something specific (and I have) it is put in the context of *MY* beliefs are this. Does that make sense?

My dd wants me to help her put together a Book of Shadows. She has one picked out and has just started writing in it. I was thinking about helping her do a blessing on the next full moon.

My older children--16, 15, 14, and 11-- have their own altars in their rooms and their own book of shadows. They collect things for both very carefully.

We just found out that we got the house we put an offer on!!!!!! My oldest is thinking about having an altar in his room. It'll be interesting to see what kind of things he puts on it.

Mine isn't born yet, so I hope it's alright that I am posting here. I plan on teaching my child as much as I can about various religions and let him/her choose his/her own path. My parents weren't very happy when they found out I was interested in Paganism ( When I was 13) and tried to force me into being Christian, which just isn't right for me. So that makes me want to let my child explore as many religions as possible and choose for themself.
