Default Bright Blessings!

Just dropping in to see if anyone is still around. I hope everyone had a wonderful Samhain. Time to start thinking about Yule!

Anyone have any interesting plans for Thanksgiving? Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? I know lots of Pagans that are morally opposed to it. We still celebrate it, but it's mostly about food and family.

I hope all is well with anyone reading this.

Blessings!

Well Met! We will celebrate the food and the giving thanks for friends, family and the world around us ... much like the first real thanksgiving when they were celebrating the harvest. Other than that, moving forward to yule here.

Merry Meet, Lisa! Glad you stopped by here to our lonely little board. lol I'd really love to see this board get moving again. We used to have some regular traffic but with the rise of MySpace I think a lot of these boards have slowed down and/or died.

Hope to see you back here!

Merry part, 'till merry we meet again!

I have a myspace page, but honestly it was built to supervise my older children and I just can't seem to get the hang of it. Maybe someday I will become more confident, but as of right now -- forums are about my limit LOL.

The pleasure is mine to meet you and to be here. Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

I have to admit I've been on MySpace quite a bit lately. It's been great getting in touch with some old friends that I haven't seen or heard from for years. I also use it to monitor my kids. They all have their own pages there but I make them set them to private and I have to approve each and every person they want to friend. I also have access the their accounts myself. It can be a dangerous place, but if parents manage it properly it can be a really fun place, too.

Glad to have you here!

I havent checked in here in awhile. Bad me!!! lol
In Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Unlike the American tradition of remembering Pilgrims and settling in the New World, Canadians give thanks for a successful harvest. The harvest season falls earlier in Canada compared to the United States due to the simple fact that Canada is further north.
But now we are looking forward to Yule. We have a sabbat to attend to on the 16th, we are hoping to have a Mummer's dance. My 13 year old daughter will be coming
Whats everyone else been up to?
