...dream happy dreams for me! I have an interview for what looks to be the perfect job tomorrow morning at 9:30. It's 15 hours/week, very flexible, and within walking distance (and I'd walk right through downtown so I could do some child-free shopping on the way home from work). Also, it is in a small mom & pop company and they said you had to be ok with animals and 2 yr olds--which I am extremely comfortable with! And it would be about $12/hr.

So if you are up at 2:30 am say a little prayer!

It's just basic admin/secretarial stuff but it pays well and the hours are right.

Well, the interview went really well! The couple is very sweet, the home office is small but bright and cheery, the cat is loving, the baby is cute, the place is an easy drive to get to and an easier walk than I had thought...now we'll have to see if they liked me best too! I drove myself there all by myself (no navigator) and didn't get too lost. Now I'm all worried about this or that little thing--did I express myself well, did I present myself as I wanted to present myself--and I'm all sad that if it does go through then I actually do have to give up 15 hours a week for it. But then I'll have more money to go play in England so that'll be good. Mustn't forget that.
