Well......I guess my testimony just needed a good kick in the pants, as it were.
I wish I had some great dramatic story to share, like we all of a sudden got a $2000.00 check in the mail from out of nowhere. Or that one nite a bunch of groceries and stuff appeared on our doorstep...but it's not like that.
Actually, after I posted my "struggling" topic, I thought on it for a few days. Then one nite it just sortta hit me.."DUH, Whitney..why are you being so ridiculous?! You
know that this CHurch is true, you
know that God loves you and watches out for you. Why are being so dumb and selfish?"
I really had no answer...and that night I had a long "talk" with Heavenly Father. Then.....a day or so later...I'm getting the mail and I see this letter to DH from some screwball company. I open it up and it's a check for $1054.76. I'm like.."Okay..what do have to buy to get this money." YK, like one of those fake sweepstakes checks? Anywho..as I'm looking more closely at it..I see that it's from an insurance company. Ya see...about 3 weeks ago DH's car got hit right out on the street in front of our house. Well...long story short, this was the check from the ladies insurance to fix our car. I called DH, and asked him what he wanted to do with it. It's a dent in the drivers side door and DH is pretty sure he can fix it on his own, so.....he decided that we should just deposit the check into out account and use that to get out of the hole and to pay rent this month.
I guess HF does answer prayers. Now, I know that we would have gotten this check no matter what, but honeslty, the timing couldn't be better.
I was able to pay rent, get Cohen the new shoes he needed, not to mention some other things that we needed.
Plus....I went thru Cohens clothes and found a some stuff that he never wore and that is now to small for him, so I took it all up to the "Childrens Orchard" (a kids re-sale store near me) and sold it to them. I got $30!! Now I have some cash for the plane ride to Mich Thursday.
Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all. Thank you fo rall of your kind and inspiring words in my other thread. It really did mean alot. I'm just going thru such a rough time with everything...and it seemed to just all boil over at once YK? Thank you again!

Thanks for sharing that. It made my heart all warm! Im so happy I could almost feel your relief at getting caught up & being able to relax! 
And actually..things are looking up again. DH informed me that the school he is going to will actually get him a job in his field 6 months from the time he started classes. We originally thought it was when he had 1 year left. 
I am soo happy. He won't be making as much as when he graduates, but it will surely be more than he makes now.
