My mom is in realestate, and she is currently helping my old BFF's family to sell their home. I haven't talked to my friend in eons. With college, me getting married and moving cross country we kinda lost touch, but our familys have known one another since we were in the 3rd grade.

Anyway....my mom was talking to her mom this morning, dissucing the closing on the house and what not, and my friends mom mentioned that they were really wanting to get this over with since they recently had some bad news in the family. Turns out, their granddaughter was diagnosed with bone cancer this past Thursday. She is only 10 yo, and is the sweetest little girl ever. She is the fisrt born grandchild and has 2 younger sisters. I know that any prayers you could offer would be wonderfully appreciated. Luckily Mots Childrens hospital (one of the best in the nation) is only 30 mins from us, so they have that in their favor. But still....if you could keep her and her family in your prayers. Her name is Gabrielle. Thanks so much.

How sad- We have the same kind of a thing going on in our family. My nephew (BIL and SIL first and only baby) has brain cancer that has no cure. He has had many surgeries, and chemo and radiation. He just turned 2. They are up at Primary Children's. I will keep all these sweet cancer kids in my preyers

I am praying, too. I hate it when little children suffer, but I bet that their innocence is so precious that they have special blessings that adults may not.
