I have read both posts on the BAC board and on this board. Each of you here and each of us on the BAC are very precious to God. I (and probably everyone on the BAC board) do not hate you guys. It seems like you think we're attacking you personally. I have several dear Mormon friends that I love. Living here in Nevada, I am surrounded in LDS churches. My family was very tight with another Mormon family growing up. My sister's friend was LDS and would go on vacation w/ us. My midwife who just delivered my son in April is Mormon. My dad shares ownership of a boat w/ a Morman man
I'm sure that if any of us were to get to know any of you, we would really like each other and get along just fine.

anyway, what we are "debating" is not about you, it is about theology.

Kerry I totally agree with you! I don't hate anyone on either board, that is for certain. The great thing God did for us was give us our free agency so that we can make our own choices and believe what we want! My intention was not to debate anything because truly no one would "win". I did want to state my beliefs in the way I see them, and I think for the most part that is what everyone else did as well. I think the thread was okay and didn't get too crazy and I didn't take offense because I know we all have the right to believe what we want!

Thank you for your post. It's hard not to defend your own religion. Everyone is different and we are here to choose what we want to believe. Life is all about choices, and I choose to love everyone regardless of faith or race or whatever else makes us all unique from one another. I'm glad we can all agree to disagree and love eachother anyway!

I kind of feel like I should just drop it before it escalates into something I don't want to be part of, but I just keep feeling like questions are being asked that I would like to answer. Tell me if you're sick of me! hehe

Thanks for creating this post kerry! Being a part of geo/myria/SK for 3yrs-I knew a member from this board would see it.I love to dig deeper into the word, but not at the cost of outcasting anyone, and being a side-show for all the lurkers! If the subject came up in the middle of a thread that would be different,and differences could be discussed. In her defense,I'm sure like she said-didn't think many others lurked there and thought she could get a discussion going, among those that were like-minded!

Like kerry, I don't agree w/ your doctrine and notice many differences, BUT we are more alike in how we live than not! There have been a few times a poster from here have posted on the debate board, and I thought to myself "they must be a christian" before I even knew the denomination! I have more in common w/ the LDS, than I do the non-believer! So, I hope there are no hard feelings

Well I suppose I over reacted then, I just took the way you asked if anyone else found it offensive to mean that you were just appalled that people like the LDS would dare consider themselves Christians.
