I know this is an odd question and I wont say your last name on this board- but are you related to Hanna (insert your last name here)? She has a little boy named Dexter (same last name) whose story I have been following for a while. I know they live in the salt lake area- not sure where.

OH my gosh! Yeah she is my sister in law! Dexter is at Primary Children's Hospital (well in and out anyways) they live downtown. He is doing ok- do you follow his website? How did you find out about him? e-mail me if you would rather amywattles@hotmail.com

Wow- that is a coincidence!! Yes- I do follow his website. My best friend lost her 2 yr old to rhabdoid in 1998. I have a webpage I made for him

Anyway- since then I have tried to be active in fighting childhood cancer- and mostly rhabdoid. Im a member of the rhabdoid kids message board and I stop in to check on the kids websites as much as I can.
So tell me- is there anything they are in need of? Would they like cards,etc? He is sure a cute little man!

Well Kevin and Hanna are at a stand point right now- He has had his 3rd reocurrance, and now they have found cancer cells in his spinal fluid. Kevin and Hanna were going through with the cyberknife radation, but now that the spial tap came back with active cells, they don't know. I would love for him to go on a "make a wish trip" but I don't know if Kevin and Hanna don't want to take hand outs or if they just arn't up to it. We are going to Disneyland next Thursday with the whole "wattles" gang so that will be fun. I bet Dexter would love to get some card though- he is thriving so well- you can't even tell he has that nasty thing growing in his head! Thanks so much for being an advocat for these porr kiddo that are fighting this nasty disease!

Wow, those brave little kids and families. I'm looking at the website for this and it's got me in tears (and I'm at work too, lol). So many kids facing such big challenges at such young ages, it's heartbreaking.

Amy your little nephews such a cutie too. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. I can't imagine what they're going through, bless their hearts.
