I found my love and love my choice~*~*~Families are Forever~*~*~God has his own timing, PATIENCE!
My name is Sarah. I am 25 years old and I live in Alberta, Canada. I've been a member of the church my entire life but as all of endure, have had moments dealing with trials and other moments of faith building experiences that leave my testimony strengthened!
I met my husband at his 2nd missionary discussion. I was considering serving a mission when I turned 21 so I would go on a lot of splits with the missionaries. Then Alan happened! LOL! He is amazing. He was raised Catholic but was always "searching" as his mother likes to say. He attended bible college and has attended almost every single religion's services out there. He knew that he had found what he was looking for during his 1st discussion and the missionaries asked him to be baptised that first meeting. We were friends for a month or so before it blossomed into more and we started dating Feb 2002. He was baptised March 2002 and he asked me to marry him July 2002. We were married in the Cardston Temple in April 2003!
Once we decided the time was right to start our family, it didn't happen as quickly as we had hoped- in fact it took forever!!! Rachel finally joined our family March 2006 and we were more than surprised when car sickness turned into more this past fall and we're looking forward to the arrival of a sweet little sister for Rachel this May! Talk about instant family!!!!
I like to spend most of my time hanging out with my husband and daughter- I'm slowly learning to get some more "me time" and enjoy spending it going for lunch with friends and shopping. I'm a self proclaimed evening tv addict. My favourite shows are Gilmore Girls, The Hills, Amazing Race, and GRAYS ANATOMY!!! I'm trying to limit it to one show a night! I love reading, especially Nicholas Sparks and the women of genesis series. I'm a ward missionary although it is a difficult calling to excel at with a little one who goes to bed so early! I love decorating my home although I have so many picture frames hanging empty even though I go through a costco size box of AA batteries each month from all the pictures I take!
That's me in a nutshell.

I am an LDS Texan. I have been a member since I was 8.5, my dad was a convert and my mother converted 25 years later...like 8 years ago. I have been married almost 10 years and have a precious little boy who took 6 years to get but he was worth every second and every penny! I am currently the HFPE leader in our ward.

Hi - I'm Steph. I'm from Virginia. I've been a member my whole life and met my hubby at BYU. We moved to Ohio for grad school and moved to North Dakota this past summer for a new job.
We have a 5 yr old son whose adopted and as you can see from my signature, we've had quite a long journey trying to have children. We are looking to adopt right now and hope some how it will happen!
I just got called to be the Enrichment Counselor in our R.S. so if you have any good ideas for meetings, I'd love to hear them.
I love scrapbooking (don't do it very much though), baking, eating out, hiking, and having fun with my family. Sarah, I love the Amazing Race too. It's definitely one of my fav shows. I'm also a Deal or No Deal addict. I know, it's kind of sad!!
I look forward to getting to know you all better!

Re: ALL ABOUT ME- Introduce Yourself Here!
hey everyone! My name is krista and I'm from Utah. I've been a member since the day I was concieved! I'm married to a wonderful man named justin and we have 4 little ones, Jaydan 8, Trevor 5, Jaxon 2.5 and our little princess Lainee who was born on March 4, 10 days ago! Jaydan was just baptized this month, and was so excited! I was so afraid I would go into labor just before his big day, but his sister decided to come the next day. (she probably didn't want to share her big day either! LOL) We got ready to go to church and was sitting in sacrament meeting and I started timing contractions, and they were 5 min. apart, so my mom, who is an rn at our local hospital, said to come in and be checked, so we had our neighbors take our kids home after primary, and we went to the hospital and sure enough, she was ready to come, and 4.5 hours later, she was here! The funny thing to this story is in Nov. when my sister was about to have her baby, my brother, who is in Mongolia serving a mission, told us in his e-mail that he had dreamed she was going to have her baby, that was on friday, and sunday she had him. Well, the friday before I had Lainee, he told us in his e-mail that he dreamed I was going to have the baby, and 2 days later, Lainee was here, so there must be something to missionary revelation! LOL!
A little background on how my husband and I met. I was 18, and he was 22. I had graduated from high school, and had just got done with my first semester of college at Weber State University in Ogden utah. I had met a guy at diabetic camp that summer who was 26, and a "bad boy" and he lived in ogden, so I thought it was perfect that I was going to school there that fall. He smoked, and drank ect, and when my parents found out I was sneaking out of the house (I lived with my gma and aunt) to see him, that was it, they pulled me out of school, since they were paying tuition, and I wasn't attending classes to sneak around with him, and told me if I wanted to be an adult, I would get a job and start paying rent. Well, our stake had just split and my family and justin's family got put into the same ward. He actually grew up up the road a block from me, but I didn't know him since we weren't in the same ward. So my mom and sister decided together it was time to start setting me up with some of the single guys in the ward, and Justin was thier first pick. So, along with my now FIL, they set it up and we went to a Utah Jazz game for our first date. When the date was over, I knew I was going to marry him! That was in Feb. of 1997, we were engaged in April, and was married in the Manti Temple on August 23, 1997, just after I turned 19. It was a whirlwind romance, but we are still together and happy after 10 years!
Right now, I don't hold a posision in the ward, Justin is one of the nursery leaders, but being a mom right now is definately a calling! I can't wait to get to know all of you a little bit better, and sorry my intro was so long!
Congratulations on your little Lainee's arrival, Krista!!! How are you feeling? That is too funny about the missionary revelation- I would've had my water break at church with Rachel had I not skipped church that morning! Do we get pictures of your new little one?
I would love a HFPE calling. You girls are lucky!
It's nice to get to know everyone a bit better...

Well im new here but though I would post. Im not of the religion....Yet! My husband and his family are. I do attend functions though and have lessons with the missionarys. I absolutely want to attend the church's on the weekends but feel alittle unsure. Any advise you can give me that might make me feel alittle more at ease. The only thing I can say is that when I do attend the dinner functions and hear the storys I get kind of choked up and teary eyed, I go home wanting to attend but wake up discouraged(maybe because I have 4 wild and I do mean wild girls).

Starz
Hi, and welcome! If you need support, you've come to the right place! I hear ya about the wild and crazy kids! I have 3 little boys and just had a girl a couple of weeks ago. I'm here for support, and any questions you have at all, let me know. I can totally understand about being unsure of something new, and life altering as religion. There's no judging, but let me know if I can be of any help!
strz79- My adviced is take it at your own pace but also try to make yourself go. I have found the days that I have tried talking myself out of not going are the days I found I need to be there most. I was born into the church but after my parents divorced when I was 13 I and my immediate family became inactive. It has just been in the last 6months that I have started going again. It is such a huge lifestyle change it can be intimidating. Prayer has helped me the most. I know in my heart it is the right place for me to be. I will be here for any support you need no matter what you do!!

HI all! I just found this forum. I am Jennycherie, married mom of 4. I was blessed to stay home with my kiddos for 10 years but last spring, I had to return to work. After several grueling months as an overnight cashier at Wal-mart, I landed a great job (teaching Spanish) that I am totally unqualified for. Fortunately, they have not decided to kick me out yet! I am still learning how to balance home and family--it is SO hard and I have a really flexbile job! For now, I am just looking forward to finishing finals next week and having three long months to pretend I am still a stay at home mom! ANYway, church-wise, I have been a member for nearly 14 years. I joined a few months after my 21st birthday. Right now, I get to teach Gospel Doctrine SS and it is my favorite calling ever.
