Ugh were still waiting for this move. We can't leave Ft Hood, Tx til we clear military housing. They don't pick up our housegood til the 13th or 14th of this month. Than we have to clean this carpet. What's the point paying 277.00 for clean up crew if they don't clean the carpet so we have to hire someone to clean the carpet and take care of the yard but the clean up crew cleans everything else. Ugh this sucks I told my DH if he plans to go back in the military he better make sure he retires before Enlisting because I will never live onpost ever again clearing onpost housing takes forever.

military can be a very big pain in the a**!, well less than two weeks to go, hopefully they will get your furniture to you on time here, sometimes that is a hassle, does your hubby speak spanish? you got family here?
My DH speaks spanish fluently... My DH family lives in NJ and I don't get along with my SIL she is major issue in my DH family. But, my husband family doesnt speak much english so, alot of translation in between LOL. I know the basic spanish hello, good bye, my name is..., how are you, good morning & etc; thats about it LOL

I got a problem with my SIL too, it seems she thinks her shi* don't stick, you know the type? Hey I just read at the other board that your boy had surgery, I'm sorry you guys are going thru a tuff time, I hope now he will get better and not be in pain, no more infections, sorry for you, I know how hard it is to see your child in pain, take care, keep your chin up, things will get better!!!!!!!!
My SIL acts like an angel around her brother but when she on the telephone with me she is the DAREDEVIL from He**... Yeah he had surgery he was feeling better but today from the anesthetia (sp) he began to get ill i had to take him to the ER today hes asleeping today because the medicine the nurse gave him made him tired supposed to sooth his stomache...
Most of my family is military so I don't have any family in NJ my family are in Texas. My dad was in the military he;s here in texas but right now hes going through a nasty divorce. So, he will be staying in a Nursing home i was trying to find an nursing home in Nj so he wont be alone by himself in TX.

wow, sorry BOUT YOUR SON, I'M GLAD HE IS BETTER. HOW OLD IS YOUR DAD THAT HE IS IN A NURSING HOME? WELL, ANY WORD ON WHEN YOU MOVING, HEY EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE FAMILY HERE, ATLEAST YOU HAVE A FRIEND! O.K.
My dad isn't in nursing home.. Right now they said he doesn't need to be in a nursing home they just wanted to place him in rehabilitation until he finish his therapy for his back. Until his treatment is over the hospital will release him. Right now i can't stand my family here in NJ. We live in Camden Cty which is the ghetto part of camden. But Moorestown, Palmyra, Mt Holly those look nicer in camden. But Cherry Hill that place is expensive the rent here is so pricey than texas. I can rent a 3 bd room home for 600.00 here its like 1,000.00 how come the rent is so expensive??

I did not know you were back on the boards i had been looking for you, I'm not that familiar with Camden county, yeah rent over there is terrible, you are better off buying as soon as you can, but then you will be slammed with taxes, if you are not too far from delaware, you are better off living here and working over there, rent and taxes and insurance here are alot cheaper...take care and good luck.....
Our belongings arrived here on the 3rd and I was annoyed because the government lost alot of our belongings. First i had all my christmas stuff packed in those tupperware boxes well they taken everything out and some of my stuff is missing and they lost the boxes Arghh.. Than they lost the pieces to our PC desk and our monitor piece has a crack in it. Gesh, I'm annoyed and they stolen my rings too. So far Camden is ghetto their are no stores in Camden all the stores are in cherry hill area which is pretty nice. I found an apartment guide well delaware area was cheap but where we rent at they screw us over big time. 1) our kitchen isn't big enough to store all our equipment 2) they didn't even clean the apartment when the people moved out their was mail everywhere 3) the person had a dog here and it smell like dog. Than the tub was nasty and dirty too.. I try looking at an housing guide man the houses are expensive too.. Like for an nice house they run from 100,00 to 300,000 thats alot compare to Texas. A nice house in texas runs from 50,000 to 90,000 but, the tax is high in texas. Right now we have auto insurance through the military because my husband is still consider Active Duty but, he will be in the Guard so we still are able to keep reservist insurance through the military but, the insurance is higher because in NJ. We were paying 107.00 in Texas now its 207.00...

If you lose your insurance thru military, call geico, they have pretty good rates, they give discounts for being military and if you belong to credit union, check it out , how the kids? is your husband adjusting... Our yard is a huge mess right now, we are getting a fence put in, taking out diseased trees and planting new stuff, it is a big project and it will take a while to complete. take care.
I think my DH is hating civilian life.. Right now hes thinking about going back in the military. I told DH some time he will be a civilian regardless he serve 20 yrs as AD or Reservist that when you retire you still be one of those "civilians". So, one day you will be civilian... DH is working at some reservist base which pays pretty good. My youngest is sick he has some virus call viral exanthem.. Which are these bumps all over your body the only treatment is going away by itself. They look like mumps though

sorry your son is sick, i myself have an ear infection and my throat has been killing me for four days. My litle one is also sick, it just never ends if it is not one thing, it is another... you say you are in Camden, are you near were that shooting happened with the young mother that got shot in the head while driving and her three kids in the back sit sat there and watched their mama pass away...so sad, God be with that family and those three little angels that will have to live the rest of their lives without thier mom!!!
Hmmm.. I didn't hear that.. Yikes I better move if their are shootings happening here. I heard about the kidnapping in Philly I think the baby was 2 months old but they found the baby though Thank god I prayed for that baby girl Man I can't believe someone will shot someone while they have their own kids in the car..
