My son Aaron left this morning for 5th grade camp. He'll be gone until Friday afternoon.

They caught a child predator in the park of our elementary school yesterday. Its a block and a half from my house, and Aaron was there all day yesterday playing basketball with this "boys". I guess the guy tried touching four of the boys and one told his mom. A few of the parents made their way up there and held the guy up until the police came.

Im here...well I should be working.

My weekend....was good! Soloman had baseball games Saturday & Sunday. We went to church Saturday night. Sinclair had a all girl bday party to go to Sunday morning. It was at Libby Lu...they do their make up, nails & hair she was a little stand off ish at first, but she had so much fun.

That is scary about the child predator in your park. These guys are getting more and more bold. Thank goodness the boys told their parents.

I remember when Soloman went to 5th grade camp. It was the first time he was away from me for 4 nights. He has so many fond memories of camp....Im glad your area does that to. Looking back I really think that week at camp was a changing point in his life. I also remember thinking oh how nice it will be to have a week off, but I missed him so much and he didnt miss me at all...hehe I hope Aaron has a great time!!!

Sorry, I'm late girls...I was soooo busy yesterday. I went to Target, the Grocery store, the dry cleaners, and had to drop off some movies all is one day (on top of the laundry, dishes, clean the house, take care of the baby). I was a bit tired yesterday, but at least I got a lot of things done!!

Jen, that is so crazy about the child predator story!! I am glad that your son was okay.

That is awesome about the camp for Aaron. I taught 6th grade and took the kids to Catalina for the week. It was all about the biology of the island...we also went scuba diving and hiking. The camp leaders also took the kids on a night hike where they learned about the stars. It was great! I'm sure that your son will have so much fun!

Well, as for my weekend, I really didn't do much. It was raining most of the weekend and cold. I watched the movie Bood Diamond with DH. It was so sad....I cannot believe what goes on in Africa just for diamonds. If I would have watched this movie before getting engaged, I would have just wanted a band with no diamond. It is so sad...all of the lives lost for this.
I also watched another sad movie...The Pursuit of Happiness. Gosh that movie was even more sad! I was waiting for the good part and it never came..just some words about his life in the end. I wanted to see some HAPPINESS! =) I'm glad you all had a good weekend.

I wanna see Pursuit of Happiness and Blood Diamond, maybe I should wait until after I have the baby, I am way too emotional now!

Hey if Aaron got to go to camp in Catalina, I would have gone too!!!
