Default *Sigh*

Its kinda sad because everyone on the Due in boards I am on are starting to buy things and posting all their goods and really I don't need anything for this baby. I am going to buy another sling. I could use a bassinet for the rare occasions I put him down, but if I do get one, I'll most likely buy it second hand. A friend of mine did say she had one to give me if she comes to visit in June (she lives in WI). She has a ton of boy clothes too...new stuff because she just had her son after Zari was born. Plus I still do have some boy clothes leftover. I have bedding sets, two of them, pretty much brand new. I have blankets and sheets and diapers...I even have bottles and formula.I have socks and shoes and lil hats. I have three strollers and an infant car seat. Granted Zari is still iin the crib, but by the time Zay would need it she'd probably move to a toddler bed. And if I really needed a second crib my bro has one he'd let me use, his son will be two in June.So I really don't have anything to buy for this baby. I guess when you are #7 you get nothing new.I was thinking I might buy some solid colo onsies and have the kids decorate them with fabric paint...just for something his very own.

I even have a baby bathtub too and a bunch of unopened baby shampoo, bath wash, lotions, baby powder, diaper cream....
I have thermometers, nail clippers, bulb syringes, every darn thing.

I don't have a swing, but I don't use them. I was thinking of buying a little travel swing just so I could get something new for him.

When I was pregnant with Camryn I was sad because I didn't have anything for her.Everyone on the dio board had nurseries and all kinds of stuff for their babies.I gave away all my baby stuff after Jordyn turned a year.I thought I was done having kids so I didn't think I needed all the stuff. All I got after she was born was diapers from people.I guess since she was my third girl people thought I didn't need stuff.I bought her jumperoo, a carseat, and a basinette.Sadly, that's all she still has and she's almost 7 months old.I'm trying to save up to buy her some big girl stuff. She needs a playpen, a high chair, and a big carseat.I hope to get that stuff in the new few weeks.

I'm sorry about that Jen. The T-shirt idea sounds like a great plan. This way he will look back at pics and see what his fam did for him before he was born. It sounds like you have everything you need...I think that with JJ I over bought and he only uses half of those things. I absolutely love the swing (it is my savior). Maybe you can start a scrapbook for him?? Just a thought. You sound like you are all ready though. I'm sure you are very excited too!

I am only on number 2 and I already feel like this baby is going to miss out. Plus we are moving to our first house in two weeks and that has sucked up most of our savings. So, even if I really needed stuff...couldn't get anything anyways.
