How was the holiday for everyone?
We spent the entire day at the park with my family. The kids got to run around all day, it has a great play ground and a huge grassy area. They played soccer with some other kids there, and had a water fight. My brother was in charge of lunch and so had Pizza Hut delivered at the park
the delivery guy told us he thought they guys at the store were trying to pull a joke on him. Then we did make your own subs for dinner, with lots of watermelon thrown in. We watched the fireworks from my parents driveway, they live just several blocks from where our MLS team plays. We had some interesting few minutes when neighbors set off a chain of fireworks and the wind picked up. They were exploding right over us. Nothing happened, so all good. But my dad was furious with them. One of them fell into another nieghbor's yard.
Taro and Anwyn loved all the fireworks, not only the professional ones but the personals ones everyone was setting off too. Alaurial fell asleep during the fireworks - again!! We were close enough to feel the booms. Every year she's slept through the fireworks. At least she saw part of them this year!
