Default Hair care products

First for me. My hair is falling out. Probably a combination of post partum hormones, stress, not taking care of it, etc. What have you found are good haircare products for yourself: shampoo, conditioner, hairdress, etc.

Second for my daughter. I'm using the regular J&J products but heard that they really aren't great for any child's hair, let alone black hair. I haven't really seen any adverse effects but her hair is really dry and I have been putting J&J baby oil or baby oil gel on it. But I would like to try a different shampoo and moisturizer. She's 4 months old and while most of her hair is that soft curly new baby stuff, there's a small patch in the back that is changing into the texture I think she will end up having down the road. Any suggestions?

when i had trouble with my hair i used infusium 23. i used the shampoo and conditioner and also the leave in treatment spray. i used that for about 4 or 5 months and i really saw a difference. i now use pantene for women of color. also i wash my hair once a week. after i wash it, i usually roller set or wrap it and i was lottabody setting lotion. i also use the pantene oil sheen. now as for your daughter's hair, i don't know much about that, i don't have any kids yet. but i hope the info was helpful.

Hey Lotzaboyz, what is your name? I feel rude and silly calling you by your user name. Unless you prefer that?
Thanks for that link. I have to look at it a little more thoroughly than I did yesterday but I'm wondering did you use that on your children's hair when they were infants? You think it's ok for a a 4month old? Also, did you use all their products (conditioner, moisturizer) on them?

Hi, my name is Jen.
Yes, I have used all their childrens products, and I used them on my daughter since she was an infant.

Hey Jen,
Do I have to call their number in IL to order this product or is it available in regular beauty supply stores?

Have you tried the baby products for african american children? I heard those were pretty good.
