Guess I'll start out here and hopefully more will follow!

I'm Celeste. I'm 26 and I've been married to my husband Ethan for 3 years. We had a great time as a married couple for those three years, but we recently decided to go ahead and start a family!

We have since been thrilled to learn that we are expecting twins! I knew it was a possablity as I have twin sisters and they run on my side,but I never thought I would have them! We can't wait to find out the sex next month. I am hoping for one of each, but I'll be thrilled either way!

I'm looking forward to chatting with other African American families. Seems like a great way to connect I hope the board picks up soon. I'm having a great time on the DID board!

Hi Allsmiles,

I'm 38 with a 1 1/2 year old and prego with my second baby. Not sure when I'm due as I go to the doctor on Monday. I never keep up with my periods so I'm not sure when I conceived which will make the doctor/nurse mad.

I would think that I'm due in Feb but my belly is sooooo big right now that I have a feeling that I might be carring twins or I'm a lot further along than I thought or I have really week stomach muscles.

I like your timechart with the black babies I'm gonna have to go to that site to make one myself when I get more information.

I've been married 4 years and have 3 stepsons. Hubby and I have the toddler together and soon the one in the oven.

I'm soooo very happy to be prego again. I married later in life as I was waiting on the one God would send me and started having my babies late. So at 38 I think this will be the last one. Neither of us are getting younger.

Thank you. Not sure that I would want twins. My Mom is a twin, she keeps reminding me of that fact. For some reason she thinks that I forgot.

Anyway . . . we're hoping for a girl as we have all boys right now. I think hubby only shoots boys.

No names picked out yet. Hubby wants the girl name of Jaina, I don't really like that name at all. We picked out my son's name 2 days after he was born.

What about you? You have to have 2 names picked out.

Please let me know as soon as you find out the sex of your little ones. How exciting!

Do you feel that you're getting pretty big already? Are you in maternity clothes yet?

Oh wow! After looking all day today(we are looking for hebrew names) I found another one we finally agree on! Guess what it is...Rayna! LOL,kind of close to Jaina,which is also pretty!! I might actually like Jaina better..but don't tell dh!!

Right now we have Soloman & Jeremiah for boys and Jordana & Raena(Rayna, Raina..) for girls!! I'm totally excited!!

I have a feeling we're having two girls!! I can't wait to see!! What do you feel you are having??? And yes, I am huge and in Mat clothes!! I feel so fat

Hello my name is Angie I am 32 and my dh is 31. We have been married for two years and are TTC#1 naturally for a year with no success at all. I am currently on my second cycle of clomid. Hope this cycle is it for us.

I currently post on TTC 30 something board, and I was browsing and saw this African American board and decided to jump in. Hope to get to know you all better and to you allsmiles on having twins, I know you and dh are so excited.

I am Leta. I am 28 years old and have a 14 month old nicknamed Five (he's the fifth generation; his daddy is the fourth). DH is 30 next month. Five is the love of my life. Would love to have another, not just yet though. Congratulations to you girls here already prego and all the best to you Angie. Motherhood is so great right? And wow, twins.....more power to ya! Glad I found this board.
