Default Ahhhh...Baby snakes

About two months ago my oldest son caught a garter snake. He begged me to keep it, which at first I was dead set against it. It took him two whole days to change my mind LOL.
So we learned all about garters and it was going great. Then on June 29th, our garter snake became a momma!!!! We had no idea she was pregnant. She had 24 babies!!
Unfortunately one died , we gave one away to Isaac's friend, gave fourteen to the reptile pet store, and kept eight!!

They are really fun to keep actually and very easy to take care of. So, we now have nine snakes, including the momma, a Chinese Water Dragon, and next month my son Elijaah is getting his Bearded Dragon. We are a regular reptile house now. LOL

Here are some pics of the baby snakes...

OMG woman! You are way braver than I'll ever be LOL

I used to play with gaden snakes when I was a kid...

We currently have one beta fish and one cat... and thats already too much LOL

Its funny how I love animals... but the whole taking care of and finding someone to take care of them when away is making me wich we had none LOL

I was terrified of them at first too. I will handle the babies, but I have yet to hold the momma.

Yikes!!!!!!!

You are a brave woman. Dominic always seems to find the same frog in our backyard. I will be glad when the frog finds a new home. It scared the heck outta me when it jumped. I can't imagine a snake!!!
