We had Sarah baptized yesterday after our 11am Mass. It went well.
There were six babies total that were baptized at the same time. Sarah did good through the entire thing. My son, who is three, is another story. He was awful. We had my neice take him outside to play because he was so disruptive.
Sarah loved having the water poored over her head. Most of the other babies cried, but not her. She cooed.
We asked my brother to be the godfather and my sil to be the godmother. My brother, who is 18 years older than me, actually is my godfather as well, so I thought that was pretty cool. My sil, Shana, is married to dh's brother. We are best friends. I am going to be the godmother to her twin girls in two weeks.
We had 9 people there with us for the event and then afterwards we took everyone out to eat at Red Lobster to thank them.
Sarah got some nice gifts too. She got a Precious Moments cross for her wall. She also got a Precious Moments figurine. She also got a hand-made pink crystal rosary, some Catholic kids prayer books, and a silver rattle.
A nice time was had by all.
