Matthew 1:21-23
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
This took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”–which means, “God with us.”
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John 3:16

Jesus is the reason for the season
