Introduction
Hello!
The thread on the debate board that turned into BACs bashing Catholicism had at least one good outcome - it made me finally de-lurk on this board. Soo..
I'm Andrea, 27, half romanian half hungarian. I live in one of Romania's best-preserved historical towns, called Alba Iulia and I'm a clinical psychologist. I'm married to DH Robert for 3 years now, and we have a daughter, Timea, wich is the light of our lives. I was baptised as orthodox (my dad being one) and raised without religion (in concordance with the fact that teachers during the communist era were not alowed to have anything to do with religion - and my dad was a teacher). I went sometimes to mess at my grandparents who are catholic. During college I gradually started to discover the faith in God that I had inside me - and I started to go to catholic mess again. DH is catholic too.
I'm not yet fully converted as a catholic, although I consider myself as one. My priest says that I can attend the mess/confess/get the eucharisty in the catholic church even if I'm not baptised catholic since orthodoxes and catholics have some kind of agreement on this being possible (Brianne, Sarah, any informations on the matter? ). I'm fine with how things are now, although I can see a catholic baptism in my future somewhere. We rarely attend mess since Timi was born but we intend to do so when the weather will be warmer (our cathedral has no internal heating, and is made of stone so we freeze during winter)
