My son, God love 'em, embarrassed us sooooo bad in church yesterday. Not once, but twice. First of all, he has not quite figured out that the priest is not God. (That's a hard concept for a kid!). So at the start of the homily, Sean announces quite loudly with a HUGE sigh...."I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO GOD TODAY!!". Well, if that weren't enough, halfway through the sermon, Fr Mark made a statement about "baby Jesus". Again, Sean pipes in with "cheese? I like baby cheese!". Yeah, good Catholic mom..... my kid thinks Christmas is about cheese! Hey, at least we know he was listening.

Kate hasn't figured out that the Priest isn't Jesus and often asks (quite loudly sometimes) when she can see Jesus. And we've talked about how Jesus goes in the tabernacle after communion and she can't figure out how the priest gets in the box and then gets back out
