Default Bad timing

Well I am taking my eldest ds to mass this morning, and leaving Mark at home. The problem is that Mark is going through a growthspurt...I am hoping he sleeps the whole time we are gone but if not DH will have some serious juggling to do.
I am having a tough time with the fact that he won't come with us...but I guess I need to get over and keep

Well I understand what you mean. But in good time you can get him to go with you right? Cuz he is not going to be fuzzy his whole life. Plus my church has a baby room where all the crying babies can go in.....Does your church have one?

Well it went fairly well. Quinn was too noisy for my liking, but it is a family mass. We did leave early though. Mark apparently had a bit of a fit but fell asleep on DH and woke up before I got home
We don't have a crying room at our church...but it wouldn't be the first time I nursed a baby in mass.

Glad it went well Dh was too nervous to have Meg alone home with him when she was little so she's always gone with.

I am glad it went well Denise! Keep praying for DH. Start small - just pray now that he will come with you. THEN worrying about converting him later. Pray that the Holy Spirit will enter his heart and help him to realize how important this is to you. When DH and I started dating (before he decided to convert) I told him I did not care if he wasn't Catholic, but that he had to support ME being Catholic and raising our kids Catholic. He woudl come to mass with me, but really did not participate. Would your DH do that? If you tried to explain how impt it is to you and that you want the kids there too? I am sure you have been through all this before! I hope things get easier. ANd remember, God knows the sacrifices you are making to get there, AND to get Quinn there. It is probably going to be hard for Quinn at first. AN hour is a long time to sit still and be quiet. We have been struggling with Carter too. But we persist. I have been going to first Friday mass with both kids by myself....THAT is fun! But luckily that is a kids mass, as all the school kids are there, so no one minds if the kids are a bit louder than usual!
