Icon5 thanksgiving plans?

recognizing that we're not all in the U.S. - but anybody doing anything special for Thanksgiving? we celebrated Canadian thanksgiving in October, as we had family visiting then and it was my son's birthday, so i did the big turkey dinner and all... but we have no family in the U.S. and no one has invited us for anything, so we just don't feel much like celebrating right now... i think my plans are to make a nice pork tenderloin dinner and put up some Christmas decorations...

Im on of thoughs ppl who dont have thanksgiving, being in Australia and all. With Christmas we have no set time for putting up the tree.
I have a 2 year old (well 2 in a week) and a 5 month old, so latter is better as I have to keep them from pulling things off the tree.

Matthew Thanksgiving is on Thurs. It's always the 4th Thurs of November

We'll be traveling to Ohio tomorrow afternoon. I'm a bit nervous b/c it looks like we're expecting a lot of snow along the route there. We got dumped on a bit here tonight. I was suprised really, came in from the store and it was just spitting snow a bit and then looked out just now (about 3 hours later) and everything is covered in white. The kids will be SOOOO excited!! Oh and we're going to SIL & BIL's house in OH, MIL & FIL will come over on Thurs.

Sarah, I want some snow. I miss winter. Our high today is supposed to be 80. It is already 75. It's so hard to believe that it is snowing anywhere when I look out and see sunshine with my windows and doors open. I was planning on putting all of the "cool clothes" away and digging out the winter clothes, but I cant yet.

I'm very jealous of you all with your snow. I am from PA and want to bulid a snowman with my daughter.

we had a very early thanksgiving w/ my side of the family last week in Florida. We thought about traveling to California to have TG w/ dh's side of the family, but we've traveled so much already and we're fighting off the flu. if we feel well enough, we'll go to marie calendar's. yummm.
