Some thing that may encourage you.

If some of you can remember, i have posted a few times over the last 2 years how there have been problems between myself and another person in my fellowship. Well today after 1 year of me forcing the issue (which surprising didnt work and probably didnt help the situation one bit) and then another year of just leaving it alone (but really struggling with it all) we addressed the issue today. Completely Gods leading. It has been a massive fight between me and God over this, resulting in at one point God not speaking to me for 3 days because i refused to do what He said.

Im not going to go into details but it is something that is in the core of our beings and the tendency for both of us is to still want to run back to the comfort zone but we know that God is the one leading. Its only the beginning, we have simply acknowledged to each other that we have a communication problem between us and that we are going to try and deal with it, but it will take time and a large effort of not going back to where we were. It will be interesting to see what will happen the next time we see each other as this is completely foreign ground for us both.

Please pray that we continue following Gods leading and that the enemy doesnt get in and ruin it all. Already he is putting thoughts in my head about it all, trying to stop us from moving on in Christ.

P.S. For a while God has been telling me to rest and finally, after He made it clear by closing all and every door so i could nothing, i have been resting and now i'm beginning to feel alive again.

Hi. A request.

Can you please pray that we dont go back to how we previously were with each other. Its one thing doing it in the beginning but its entirely different to keep going and either not force it or think thats it done and then leave it alone. I suppose im a little, okay much, concerned.

Just keep letting God lead you and don't get in his way. Alot of times our ways of reasoning is just another excuse to ignore what God realy wants from us and that is to get out of our comfort zone! Good luck and I will pray for you.

At times we couldnt be more out of our comfort zone and so it can be very enticing to go back to where we were previously. Thats why im concerned, as i know that the enemy wants us to stay there whilst we try and move forward which is why these thoughts keep coming. God is good tho, as long as we follow Him.

I found living in depression was a comfort, was really hard to get out of, still battling the its easyer to not be happy comfort zone, but God has brought me such a long way.

God can and will help you through this.

Becky,

I had depression for about 5 years and only began to realise it after about 4 months with God. Admitting it is one of the biggest factors to getting over it i found tho its still a battle for me at times. God has really brought me thru that and its good to see He has done the same for you.

In regards to this, something God said this morning around each other is that its not simply going to be a case of saying hello to each other but so more than that. We really screwed it up, our relationship with each other, and it will take a lot of effort to get it back. It is so enticing at times to just walk away or say nothing but God is leading and thats the key. Following Him.
